February Dinner 2.0 – Ariba!
Last week’s Dinner 2.0 at Cafe Pacifico was a huge success. The mexican food wasn’t a patch on San Francisco, but the dotcom “feel” was getting closer. The usual crowd of entrepreneurs, VCs and even the odd big 5 partner were in attendence but it was great to see a few new faces like “Phil”:http://www.morle.net/phil/ and “Dave”:http://www.freshview.com/thoughts/.
Apparently, as all events get large enough they turn to parody… so much so that the “Tangler”:http://www.tangler.com boys (and I use the term tightly 
) felt the need to put up a little fun at the expense of “yours truly”:http://blog.tangler.com/?p=66:
bq. When Mike was roused from his slumber by the Tangler reporter at 3am in the morning he merely lifted his hat, grabbed another beer from the bar and muttered: “Huh, what, oh. Wake me up for 3.0…”
