So, it seems all I post here recently (when I do) is life updates, plug Atlassian software releases and try to find good people. As they say, don’t mess with a good thing 
We’re always looking for good developers in Sydney and at the moment we’re specifically trying to find a 3rd Level Support Engineer. It’s a great position to get experience in a release hardened product team while at the same time learning to use every application server on the planet.
In other, less techy, news – Atlassian USA has opened it’s metaphorical doors on the snowy streets of downtown New York city (Lafayette St, just near Astor Place). While yesterday morning it was 2 degrees (that’s Fahrenheit – for all you Aussies and Europeans it’s a balmy -16), I am certainly adjusting to life in the Big Apple.
It is very convenient how the US workday goes from 9am-5pm EST and the Australian work day goes from 4pm-midnight EST. When you don’t know many people to drink with in the big city, it’s dangerously easy work two days concurrently.
Anyway, the reason to bring this up is we’re looking for software people with product marketing skills in the NY area, as well as a head of business development in the US. If you know any, let us know.
