Go the BLUES!
State of Origin 1 is over for another year folks, and this time the Blues took it home in emphatic style. The night was celebrated as usual with 10 mates, a big screen TV, lots of beer, plenteous Rabs impersonations and general screaming.
The usual post-game game of touch was particularly brutal this time around. It was played on Sydney’s south head with a picturesque view of the Harbour Bridge one one side and the majestic Pacific ocean on the other. Well, it would have been majestic if it wasn’t pitch black. Needless to say we had a good game for an hour – and I have the bruises, aches and pains to prove it.
See you in round 2 Queensland. This is NSW’s year.
(PS For those of you not from Australia, this is probably all pretty confusing – just let us be)
